Who we are @ Soar.
At Soar Support Work, we believe great support starts with genuine relationships.
Good support is built on consistency, trust and showing up when it matters. We take the time to listen, understand what each person wants from life, and work alongside them to build the confidence, skills and independence to get there.
We're a small team by design. That means you'll always know who's supporting you, you'll speak to real people when you call, and your supports will never feel like they're being managed by a large organisation.
Our goal is simple: provide support that feels personal, reliable and centred around you.
Soar Support Work was founded by Logan Smith, a support worker who saw firsthand the difference that genuine, consistent support can make in someone's life.
After spending years supporting participants across community access, daily living, respite and supported independent living, Logan recognised that the best outcomes came from relationships, not rushed services or constantly changing staff.
That experience became the foundation of Soar.
Our Approach.
We don't believe support should simply fill hours.
We believe it should help people move closer to the life they want.
Whether that's building confidence in the community, developing everyday living skills, creating meaningful routines, improving health and wellbeing, finding employment opportunities, or simply enjoying new experiences, we work alongside participants every step of the way.
No two people are the same, so no two support plans should be either.
Every service is built around the participant's goals, interests and pace.
Our Values.
Consistency
Building trust through reliable, familiar support.
Respect
Listening first and treating every individual with dignity.
Independence
Helping people develop confidence and skills rather than creating dependence.
Community
Encouraging meaningful participation, relationships and connection.
Growth
Supporting participants to continually learn, challenge themselves and celebrate progress.
